Hi, I’m Alli, an English teacher from the United Kingdom. I have been teaching English for over 9 years and have spent a lot of time creating my own method of personalized teaching. I believe that the most important thing about learning English is to feel both excited about the lesson and confident enough to keep speaking.

My lessons are built around your current level, goals, and interests. In our trial lesson, we can get to know each other, discuss why you are learning English, talk about your future plans, and choose topics that will make your lessons useful and enjoyable.

I teach upper beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced, and upper advanced students. My teaching areas include accent reduction, grammar development, listening comprehension, phonetics, reading comprehension, speaking practice, vocabulary development, and writing correction. I can also help with academic English, business English, colloquial English, interview preparation, legal English, medical English, and test preparation for ACT, IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, and TOEIC.

I studied Psychology at Cornell University and hold a TESOL certificate from International Open Academy. My goal is to make every lesson practical, personal, and encouraging.
